Adam Lippes had a dream to establish his own fashion brand and his dream come true when in 2004 he launched his cotton collection with the label adampluseve. He combined fashion with the absolute white T-shirt with a worldwide search for the finest and purest producers of cashmere, wool and cotton. In spring 2004, Adam’s collection was initiated at Saks Fifth Avenue. It also won the Oscars “Real World Style Awards.” The original name for this brand was Adam+Eve which was modified to the name “Adam” in 2007.
With the success of Adam (brand) the business of cotton basics progressed into sportswear collection for men as well as for women. The present name for this brand is Adam. In 2007, Adam was also initiated to the exalted Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). In September 2007, during the New York’s Fashion Week, Adam staged his first official runway show.
