The emergence of Assam Sarees in India creates a demanding scenario in the market today. It is believed that India is considered as one of the big scale manufacturers, importers and exporters of silk such as the one made on blouses and sarees. Such production of silk products brought employment to many families in Indian states. In the state of Assam, the most well known types of silk varieties will include the Muga, Eri and Tasar. The Muga resembles as the most famous type of silk Assam Sarees that is made by handloom.
