Sonia Yoon and Benjamin Channing Clyburn and their brand Bensoni represent the two designer’s distinctive collections. A creative style that is embroidered in exquisite girly expression is their unique ways of creating fantastic fashion collections. Yoon and Clyburn’s concentration lies to the unusual source of idea and the unexpected combination of the materials. Without any literal association of their interpretations, the duo can find their methods into the pieces of the elements of design.

Sonia Yoon and Benjamin Channing Clyburn first met when they were still students at School of Design in Parsons. As they discovered each creation, the two are working together with their project for thesis. Sonia and Benjamin received an appreciation and gathered lots of attention from crowds of press people and they were also chosen for the Prestigious Designer of the Year Award in Parsons when they successfully working together. In addition to the launching of their SPRING collections in 2007, Sonia and Benjamin are working together on lots of activity. They also created designs for the uniforms of the restaurant which is located in 5th Ave. of Saks store. But before they became fashion designers, the duo has been working as an apprentice at The Gap, Brioni, Donna Karan and Giorgio Armani as well.

During the runway of the Bensoni in New York 2010, the owners of Bensoni Benjamin and Sonia provided their creative Fall Muse a very well known back story. A lovely interpretation of Connecticut has been coming through the new clothing and has been embroidered a lot to make it fit very modern. The animal hair decorated in the dress was a beautiful and perfect additional accent to the line. One of the best external wear was a beautiful vest that was accented with fox hair, showed from the back of the vest and revealing it as part of cashmere jackets. The white and gray dress was very unusual but smart one and it went out as digital contributing of the hair of the fox that was eventually appeared continuously supernatural and very organic. Benjamin and Yoon have been showing their accomplishments for the past’s prints and eager to continue their creative talent. Unfortunately, the apparels can be use with authentic refine and a sequence of single shouldered and uneven figures cuts of short and bended with adding of the fabric with contrasted panels of cross body.

Their creations has been released to lots of popular magazines such as VS magazine, Vogue in Japan, Vogue Girl, URB, Teen Vogue 1 and Teen Vogue 2, Style.com, Spur 1, Spur 2, Spur 3, Reina, Phat photo, Marie Claire, Inred, Harpers Bazaar 1 and Harpers Bazaar 2, Bala, Grace, Glamorous 1 and Glamorous 2, Figaro 1, Figaro 2 and Figaro 3, Fashion News 2 and Fashion News 2 and famous Color Trend magazines. On the other hand, their clothing collections are well known such as Bensoni Tuck Top, Bensoni Skirt, Bensoni ¾ Length dress, knee length skirt, crop jacket, short dresses, sleeveless dress and blouses. The owners of Bensoni are also creating collections of shoes such as Boots, Flats, sandals, Platforms, Evening Sandals, Pumps, Wedges, Mules and Clogs and lots of accessories made by the Bensoni.
