Bibhu Mohapatra started showing his interest in creating excellent designs in fashion when he was young with hister’s clothes. Bibhu Mohapatra’s affection of luxurious Indian lively colors, fabrics and his native land’s craft has been Bhihu Mohapatra’s excellent design’s idea. Bibhu Mohapatra went to New York City Fashion Institute of Technology to enroll himself right after Bibhu completed his Economics’ master’s degree. Bibhu Mohapatra sharpened his skills as an accomplice designer for Halston the American fashion label to enhance his skills while he was manipulating his degree in designing. The skills and creative design of Bibhu Mohapatra during his senior years was acclaimed by the Fashion Institute of Technology and the known Critic’s Award for Best Evening Wear Designer and awarded Bibhu Mohapatra. The award helped him fly to the next level of his career in designing.

Bibhu Mohapatra continued to create for J. Mendel covered by Gilles Mendel. His style and talent brings life through Bibhu’s sophisticated gown and create with wonderful animal hair. After administrating the J. Mendel as design director, he acknowledged the request for his effort, changing out his duty and started designing traditional collections of cocktail dresses, evening gowns and animal hair for a chosen group of personal customers in India, Europe and New York.
 His compellation label was launched with his 1st collections all along the February 2009 Fashion Week of New York. The collections of Bibhu Mohapatra are presently bargained at all chosen stores all over Europe, North America, Middle East and Russia. His collections are accessible as well at appreciated boutiques such as Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Neiman Marcus in different cities around USA. The Fall 2009 of Bibhu Mohapatra was exploring the live accuracy of the centuries of seventeenth and eighteenth paintings of warriors, the modern architecture and armament of Japanese. Increasing luxurious yet aspiring detail to abundant colors of indigo, chartreuse, navy and grey shades, Bibhu Mohapatra changed carved design into excellent clothing. Beautiful and natural material accurately mixed to reach a dainty balance amidst the restrained and relaxed, the draped and tailored, the soft and hard. The memorable parts included a different hand woven coat made of peacock and gown made of satin chiffon in an intellectual mark which was inspired by the artwork of Hans Hartung. The Bibhu Mohpatra’s Fall 2010 was affected by 2 picture shows such as Frits Lang’s Metropolis and Bernardo Bertolucci’s II Conformista. The collections are exploring women’s strong interest with precision and accuracy in crafts and arts all along the Mussolini time in the service of innovative of Italian and the golden age’s border of journey.
