The name “Bottega Venetta” means Venetian atelier and it was founded in the late 1960s by Reno Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro. At first the label ” Bottega Venetta” began to be recognized because of the craftsmanship which were put in the clothes and accessories. Also the atelier was very well received by the Italian people, mostly because the leather goods did not hold any initials of the house and so the designs were very discreet and that appealed to most of them. Even the famous Andy Warhol did a film about the fashion house in the late 70s, and that brought a lot of popularity to it.
