Byblos was established in the year of 1973. It was the time when many different brands were famous for their designs and costumes like Burberry. At that time Burberry were giving the best designs of the time. The famous designers and manufacturers were on the side of Burberry. There were number of outlets of Burberry at that time. In the severe time of the competition, the brand that rose to the zenith was Byblos. No doubt at the start Byblos didn’t progress well due to different fashion brands but after some time Byblos started progressing with a pace that it became the number one fashion brand of the time.

In the different periods of time, different designers came who worked under this brand and made Byblos a brand symbol of quality and fashion. The first designer who worked under this brand was Gianni Versace. He worked under this brand from 177 to 1979 and during this time period of two years, he gave a new outlook to the Byblos and presented many designs and costumes under this name. Later he launched his own brand name and left Byblos. Then from the year of 1979 to 1982, guy Pauline came who raised this name with his endless efforts and again made this brand the lab of fashion. After that Allen cleaver and Keith Varty came, both of them acted as the main head designers of this brand. During their time period a number of fashion shows were held exhibiting marvelous designs and outstanding outfits. John Barlett, Richard Tayler and Martine Sitbon were also the name of the designers that remained affiliated with this name.
 In the start, the brand presented the basic men collection and ruled the world of fashion. They presented the best designs of the time in the elegant way. The time continues till the year 2006, Byblos has progressed well. In the year 2006 women wear was launched. Until now in every season there is special collection of women under the name of this brand.
Two collections of designs are launched in one year. One in the summer fall and one in the spring fall. The designs in each collection are unique and have their own significance.
