He received the honor of Doctorate in the year 2003. He received apprenticeship at old-line in the year 1962 with manufacturer company Dan Millstein. He had worked for 5 years in local New York markets before establishing his own empire. With his friend of childhood Barry K. Schwartz, they started their own business in 1968.
