Dirk Bikkembergs

Fashion professional designer Dirk Bikkembergs is a Belgian and was born on the 2nd day of January 1959 in Cologne, Germany. Dirk Bikkembergs completed his studies in 1982 from Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium together with his co-designers in Belgium named Marina Yee, Walter van Berendonck, Dries van Notten and Ann Demeulemeester. These people came to introduced the label Bikkembergs in 1996 and address it to a larger market. Dirk Bikkembergs in the beginning decided in his career to design and keep focusing to make football dress, analyzing it as the entire language level excellence of the twenty first century. Dirk Bikkembergs is acknowledged for his one of a kind capacity to challenge the uniqueness of fashion with the entire football. Dirk Bikkembergs was the 1st fashion designer to acquired authorization to grasp a fashion exhibit held at a football arena.

This fabulous fashion designer began to use the team as his workshop for making styles and material technology. Ranging from unshared coats down to extreme performance underwear, all of his styles and designs has been tested and advertised by the players of football. The group of Dirk Bikkembergs has been sponsoring the team and today the team is rename into FC Bikkembergs Fossombrone. The team is captivated not only the value to bring in basic talent but an improved performance of their image as well.

Dirk Bikkembergs is a winner of the Golden Spindle award as the Best Young Fashion Designer in 1985. By the following year, his very first collection of shoes was launched. It was in 1998 when Dirk Bikkembergs was able to show his first collection for men’s wear. In 1996, he presented his Zeis Excelsa Spa and after four years he presented his Bikkembergs Jeans for women’s collection. At the same year as well, he was the winner of the so called Moet & Chandon Espiritu du Siecle award. He became the official fashion designer of FC Internazionale 1908 in Milan in the year 2003 until 2004 and chosen again at the same year as the official fashion designer. He was the guest of honour during the fashion week show in Barcelona held at the Camp Nou stadium. The following year he launched his first boot for professional football which was design by himself thus; in 2007 he acquired the best E-commerce website awards. In the same year sometime in June, he was able to launch his first Bikkembergs Underwear collection which was held at Pitti Uomo and in 2008 he launch his Tirosegno, an improved football professional boot with fashion acquirement during the June 18, 2008 Pitti Uomo. In addition to this, he was able to open the Dirk Bikkembergs showroom for Iberia located in Barcelona in 2008. Lastly, it was in 2009 when he opened the flagship boutique for Dirk Bikkembergs situated in Milan, Italy.

Being a talented designer, Bikkembergs is creating collections that will provide one entire strong appearance, a life’s concept for women with products that are easy going and easy to combine.
