Elie Tahari

There are a number of fashion designers around the globe and Elie Tahari is one of them. Elie Tahari was born in the year 1952 in the city of Jerusalem. He was the son of Jewish Persian couple and he was the eldest one among them. The early stage and life of Elie Tahari was bit different from the others because his family shifted from Iran to Israel and over there he lived in Al-qastal camp which is currently known as the Mevasseret Zion. In the period between 1953 to 1957 the family kept on moving from Iran to Israel. After the divorce of his parents, his father married other women and due to which according to the social services that working at that time in Israel sent him into an orphanage whose name was Sde Hamed and that is located in Rishon Lezion. The rest of his early life or the younger age was spent in a boarding of Israeli Air Force School which was located in Haifa. It was therefore quit a different beginning from all other but no one knew that one day he Elie Tahari will be the most known designers in the world.

Elie Tahari moved to America in the year 1971 but he was not a designer at that time, in fact he was introduced over there as an electrician. When he moved to New York and started living in Manhattan he diverted his thinking towards the fashion and fashion related business. In the 1970’s he started designing cloths for women and throughout this period he was quit focused on the designing of women cloths and he also received great appreciation from his work. While working in the fashion designing he became the first one to launch a boutique on the Madison Avenue and it was done in the year 1974.

He is known throughout the world because of the reason that he is one of the most popular fashion designers who have been working and designing both women’s and men’s luxurious fashionable cloths. Elie Tahari has made others felt his presence by expending his designer work over the five continents in the world, he also shares the most numbers of stores in all these continents and the number is more than 6,000 stores along with a minimum of five boutiques as well and all these have helped them in evolving $500 million just via the help of this business.

With the passage of time Elie Tahari focused on several other things as well one of which was the tailored suits and he began working on it in the 1980’s. Today he has the biggest network of fashionable designer wears, boutiques and shops all over the world. The most prominent locations where he has launched his boutiques include New York, East Hampton, BAL Harbor, Las Vegas, Boston, Atlanta and Boca Raton. The stores of Elie Tahari have been so popular that they have also been shown in one of the movies, the movie was enchanted and it was released in the year 2007.
