Emma Cook is a fashion designer from England. She is a widely known name in the fashion industry of late. Emma Cook was born in the year of 1975, in Manchester, England. During her education years, she studied in both Central Saint Martin’s and Brighton University. Emma Cook has carved a niche for herself and she is known for her innovative designs which are mostly girly. She plays a lot with the prints and is very fond of animal prints and fun ones. Besides having hugely popular collection of clothing lines, she has ventured in to footwear as well. Emma Cook has got an opportunity to show her footwear collection at the London Fashion Week 2010. It was a huge success and she has been getting even more laurels for her amazing work ever since. She’s gearing up for showcasing more of her footwear collection in the coming days. As a notable achievement, she has sold her clothes lines and footwear collection to one of the renowned shops in London, namely Top Shop. This particular store has got a direct involvement in the London Fashion week and Emma Cook is going to benefit big time, according to the critics.

At the moment, she has brought two of her lines in to the fashion stores across. One of her lines was named Resort 2010. This collection mostly featured casual dresses. Emma Cook has already won compliments for her latest lines. Resort 2010 basically has got a print heavy theme. We have already seen that she was very fond of animal prints and it continues with the latest collection as well. The wilderness remains intact in her latest collection as well. Emma Cook has also released her 2nd line which is spring/summer 2010 collection. It opened to widespread appreciation in the London Fashion Show. However, the 2nd line was a total departure from the first one. This time she has used more natural designs. She was in a mood to try more earthy colors. Also, the 2nd collection had a retro feel to it where it was heavily inspired from the designs in 1960s and 1970s.

Emma Cook studies textiles in Brighton University and she completed her MA from Central Saint Martin’s. Right after completing her studies Emma Cook headed for Paris and started working under Martine Sitbon. During this period she was also working on her own collection. Considering the acceptance she has received, she was given an entry in to the 2002 Fashion Week. Right now she is not working for any company as she is in to full time freelancing. Moreover, Emma Cook is a regular name at the Fashion Week right from 2001.
