Harman Baweja is a Bollywood actor and the son of filmmaker Harry Baweja. Touted to resemble Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan in many aspects, Harman Baweja was launched by his father in the big budgeted Science fiction ‘Love Story 2050’. Till date Harman has appeared in three films, namely ‘Love Story 2050’, ‘Victory’ and ‘What’s Your Rashee’.
Harman Baweja was born on 13 November, 1980 to Pammi Baweja and Harry Baweja in New Delhi. Harman Baweja attended the Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and later joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's Acting Institute where he studied the different aspects of acting. Harman’s father Harry Baweja is a well known filmmaker known for movies like ‘Dilwale’, ‘Imtihaan’, ‘Deewane’, ‘Diljale’, ‘Karz: The Burden of Truth’, ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’, ‘Main Aisa Hi Hoon’, ‘Teesri Aankh’ and Harman’s debut film ‘Love Story 2050’.
 Harman Baweja made his bollywood debut in the 2007 release sci-fi romantic film ‘Love story 2050’ opposite Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra. ‘Love Story’ was produced by Harman’s mother Pammi Baweja and written-directed by his father Harry Baweja. Despite being one of the most expensive films of the era, ‘Love Story 2050’ opened to negative reviews at the box office and thus could not fare well. However Harman was appreciated for his performance, though some critics and media persons believed that Harman copied Hrithik Roshan in dialogue delivery and expressions.
It was during the making of this film that Harman and Priyanka started dating and later appeared in ‘What’s Your Rashee’. However the two split owing to Harman’s unsuccessful career and Priyanka becoming the undisputed queen on Bollywood. It was later rumoured that Priyanka was seeing Shahid Kapoor but both of them stated that they were just goof friends and liked each other’s company. Priyanka and Shid won acclaim for their performance as the lead couple in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’.
Harman Baweja played the lead role in Manmohan Shetty’s ‘Victory’ a cricket based sports film. Amrita Rao and Anupam Kher were also seen in other significant roles. The film is remembered for special appearances by several cricketers from India, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Cricket players like Allan Border, Stuart Clark, Mike Hussey, Sanath Jayasurya, Simon Jones, Brett Lee, Muttiah Muralitharan, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik, Shoaib Malik, Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra, Navjot Singh Sidhu among others made a guest appearance in ‘Victory’.
Harman Baweja starred opposite ex girlfriend in ‘What’s Your Rashee’ directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar and produced by UTV. The film was inspired from a television serial tiled ‘Mr. Yogi’ aired on Doordarshan and a novel named ‘Kimball Ravenswood’ written by US based Gujarati writer Madhy Rye. Priyanks Chopra became the first actree ever to portray twelve different characters in the film. She was seen playing in twelve characters, each belonging to a different zodiac sign. Though ‘Whats Your Rashee’ was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, it failed to attract the audiences and impress the critics.
Harman is expected to be seen in Anees Bazmee’s ‘It’s My Life’ opposite Genelia D'souza and Harry Baweja’s ‘Qayamat-2’.
