Isha also participated in the Miss India beauty pageant 1995, where she won the Miss Talent Crown. Isha Koppikar began her cinematic career with Agathiyan’s Tamil film ‘Kaadhal Kavithai’ opposite Prashanth released in the year 1998. Isha received the coveted the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award- Tamil for her performance in ‘Kaadhal Kavithai’. Isha appeared in a number of Tamil films like ‘En Swasa Kaatre’, ‘Jodi’, ‘Nenjinile’ and ‘Narassima’. She also ventured into Telugu films with ‘Chandralekha’, ‘Nuvvu Vasthavani’ and ‘Prematho Raa’and Kannada films with ‘Surya Vamsha’, ‘Hoo Anthiya Uhoo Anthiya’ and ‘O Nanna Nalle’.

Isha Kopikar joined bollywood in the year 200 when she was seen in a brief role oin Khalid Mohammed’s ‘Fiza’ alongside Jaya Bachchan, Karishma Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. After doing a special appearance in ‘Rahul’, she was seen in supporting roles in ‘Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’ and ‘Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyaa’.

Isha Koppikar came into limelight when she was approached by Ram Gopal Varma to perform a dance number in his underworld drama ‘Company’. The dance sequence choreographed by Ganesh Hegde became a huge success and Isha became popular as the ‘Khallas Girl’. Isha continued the stride with another peppy dance number ‘Ishq Samundar’ in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Kaante’. Isha Koppikar received the Stardust Award for Most Exciting New Face for her performance in Khallas.

Isha was later seen in supporting roles in ‘Dil ka Rishta’ alongside Aishwarya Rai and Arjun Rampal, ‘Darna Mana Hai’ opposite Aftab Shivdasani, ‘LOC Kargil’ opposite Suneil Shetty and ‘Qayamat: City Under Threat’ alongside Ajay Devgan and Suneil Shetty. Isha’s performance in critically acclaimed ‘Pinjar’ won her positive reviews. Directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, ‘Pinjar’ also featured Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpai. Isha was applauded for action sequences in Harry Baweja’s ‘Qayamat: City under Threat’. She was also nominated in the Filmfare Best Villain category for ‘Qayamat: City under Threat’.

Isha was next seen in a series of flop films including paranormal thriller ‘Krishna Cottage’, science fiction ‘Rudraksh’, comedy ‘Ek Se Bhadkhar Ek’and the controversial ‘Girlfriend’. Isha Kopikkar had to face public fury and protest for Karan Razdan’s ‘Girlfriend’. Also featuring Amrita Arora and Aashish Chaudhry, the film was based on a lesbian love triangle.

Isha Koppikar earned applauds for her phenomenal performance in ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum’ also starring Anupam Kher, Ritesh Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor. Isha was nominated in the Best Actor in a Comic role at the IIFA, Zee Cine Awards and Star Screen Awards. She later featured in supporting roles in ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ alongside Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sushmita Sen and Arshad Warsi, in ‘36 China Town’ alongside Akshaye Khanna , Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

Isha Koppikar was well received for her performances in Ram Goapl Varma’s ‘D: Underworld Badhshah, Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don: The Chase Begins Again’ and Nikhil Advani's ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’. She was also seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Darling’, a haunted love story alongside Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol. Her upcoming films include ‘Har Pall’, ‘Hello Darling’ and ‘Raakh’.

After dating Timmy Narang for a while, the two tied the wedlock in November, 2009. After getting married to Narang, Isha adopted the name Eesha Narang on the advice of renowned numerologist Niraj Mancchanda. Eesha’s husband Timmy Narang is Restaurateur who owns Lush Grill and Lounge in Mumbai. Isha earlier dated Inder Kumar while Timmy was romantically involved with Australian actress and television presenter Tania Zaetta.
