Jattinn began his designing career in the year 1991 by launching his label with a club year line for the youth. Jattinn has three stores in Delhi, one each in Mumbai, Goa and Nagpur. He is known for designing clothes that suit formal as well as casual occasions just by making certain changes to the accessories. His prêt line offers a complete range of ensembles for men and women while his evening wear embraces traditional wear, fusion wear and western formal attires. His evening wear is accentuated with traditional embroidery like chikan work, mukaish, patti work and phulkari along with gleaming swarovski crystals.
Jattinn Kochhar has worked as an anchor and a guest anchor for television shows such as Khoobsurat, Fashion Square, and The India Show. Jattinn has also been writing for fashion and lifestyle newspapers and magazines including The Hindustan Times, The Times Of India, Indian Express, H.T Persona, Just teens, Femina, New Women, Teens-Today,4th D Woman, Dainik Hindustan, Dainik Bhaskar, Ah Zindagi etc.
 He became the first Indian designer to be selected by the Australian fashion framework to showcase his collection at the Out of the Australia World Tour 1993 along with an Australian team of designers. He has also showcased his designs as a part of travelling fashion fiestas all over the world including Bangkok, Colombo, Johannesburg, London, Sydney, Canberra, Rio and Sao Paulo. Besides organizing fashion shows in Indian metros, Jattinn’s designs have been displayed in Egypt starting from Cairo, Aswan Luxor to Hurghada, at Kuala Lumpur Asia Fashion Week, Viennese ball for the Royal Austrian embassy, New Delhi, Malaysia fashion week etc. Jattinn has served as the Director General for the academic session 2000-2001 at the National Institute of Fashion Design.
Jattinn Kochhar has been honored with a number of awards including Lycra design partner for three consecutive years, Award of honor by Dorian Yates, Cine Excellency designer appreciation award, IIT appreciation award, Indo-American Society young achievers award, AIIMS appreciation award, Mescos Designer of the year award, J.D Institute of fashion technology appreciation award, I.E.C Technical Excellence Award and the Yuva Ratna Award by the Youth Congress, among others.
