Mallika attended the Delhi Public School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Indian Philosophy from Miranda House, Delhi University. She was married to Captain Karan Singh Gill, a Jet Airways pilot whom she divorced to pursue her career in Indian cinema. Prior to joining Bollywood, Mallika worked as an air hostess.
