Nauheed Cyrusi is an effervescent Indian actress, model and a former VJ. Nauheed Cyrusi faced the camera at a tender age of fourteen for a TV commercial and then was eventually seen in several adverts and music videos. Nauheed was born on October 19, 1982 and both her parents are aviation professionals. Nauheed Cyrusi is a Parsi of Iranian descent.

Naheed Cyrusi attended the J.B. Vacha School, Podar College and Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She is a commerce graduate and is pursuing Masters in Commerce through correspondence. Nauheed has featured in TV commercials for brands like Dhara, Head & Shoulders, Britannia Little Hearts Biscuits, Himalaya, Everyuth, among others. She also featured in many music videos and shot to fame with the ‘Piya Basanti’ music video directed by ace ad filmmaker Pardeep Sarkar in the scenic locales of Kotghad in Shimla.
 Nauheed also appeared in Zee TV’s popular teen show ‘Hip Hip Hurray’ and also worked as a VJ for some time. Nauheed initially wanted to become an air hostess but was struck by the glint of stardom and decided to join the film industry after successfully modeling for three years. Nauheed made her bollywood debut as the female lead opposite Uday Chopra in Padam Kumar’s action film ‘Supari’. ‘Supari’ also starring Nandita Das, Rahul Dev, Purab Kohli and Irrfan Khan was a dark film wherein Nauheed was a fun element. Nauheed Cyrusi was recommended by Purab Kohli, her co-actor from ‘Hip Hip Hurray’.
Nauheed Cyrusi was next seen alongside Ashmit Patel and Vidya Malvade in Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Inteha’ and later appeared as the female lead in choreographer Ahmed Khan’s directorial debut ‘Lakeer’. ‘Lakeer’ also starred popular actors like Sunny Deol, John Abraham, Sunil Shetty and Sohail Khan.
Nauheed won rave reviews for her exemplary performance in the 2007 release romantic drama ‘Anwar’. Directed by Manish Jha, ‘Anwar’ was based on a love story set in the post 9-11 scenario. Siddharth Koirala, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav played significant roles in ‘Anwar’. Nauheed starred in many multistarrer films like social thriller ‘Life Mein Kabhi Kabhiee’ alongside Dino MOrea, Aftab Shivdasani, Samir Dattani, Anuj Sawhney and Anjori Alagh, Anant Mahadevan’s ‘Meeting SE Meeting Tak’ starring Dino Morea and Priyanka Sharma, Puneet Sira’s ‘Kissan’ alongside Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Diya Mirza and a special appearance in Vivek Sharma’s ‘Bhootnath’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla.
Nauheed was appreciated for her acting in Tanvir Ahmad’s ‘ADA...A Way of Life’, a romantic musical film. The soundtrack by AR Rahman and story by Tanvir Ahmad earned huge critical acclaim. Nauheed Cyrusi also appeared in small but significant roles in big budget films like ‘main Aur Mrs. Khanna’ and ‘Kurbaan’. ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ was produced by Sohail Khan, directed by Prem R Soni and starred Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Sohail Khan in lead roles. While Karan Johar’s ‘Kurbaan’ was directed by Rensil D'Silva and starred Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Om Puri, Vivek Oberoi and Diya Mirza in pivotal roles.
Nauheed walked the ramp along with Koel Purie at the Allen Solly Fashion Show and later at the Lakme India Fashion Week in the year 2007. She played the female lead opposite Tarun in a Telugu film titled ‘Sakhiya Naato Raa’ directed by Jayanth C Paranji.
