Payal Jain is as famous name in today’s fashion industry that surpasses every competition. After graduating from the San Fransisco Institute of Design and Merchandising summa-cum-laude in the United States, in which she was awarded the Presidents’ Honor Roll, Payal Jain worked for prestigious European fashion houses and Clothing’s Bank in the United States. She also worked parallel eminent fashion designers like Jacquelline de Brey and Ulrich Englir during this time.
On her return to India after her fine education and sterling experience, Payal Jain opened her own boutique in 1993 in Noida. This Studio Payal Jain is a well recognized store and has its outlets in Greece and England as well.
Right from its inception, Studio Payal Jain has been self-sufficient in every possible way by having its own weaving unit where the fabric is hand-woven for the special requirements of her exclusive designs. Manual printing is done with natural dyes of vegetable origin at the Studio’s Print atelier.
Various types of fabric are used Payal Jain’s collections that include cotton, silk, jute or linen. Payal Jain is also responsible the revival of various age old techniques of printing and dying and she has brilliantly re-introduced them into eco-friendly means.
