Rahul Dev is a former Indian model and an actor who appears in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. Rahul Dev is usually seen in supporting and villainous roles in thriller and action films. Born on 27th September in New Delhi, Rahul Dev’s father was the Police Commissioner of New Delhi while his elder brother Mukul Dev is also a well known actor and TV personality. Rahul Dev has had a successful modeling career and was known for his rugged looks and finely wrought features.

Rahul Dev was expected to make his debut in Mukul Anand’s action packed film ‘Dus’ alongside established actors like Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty. However the untimely death of Mukul Anand lead to the abandoning of the project and thus Rahul Dev’s dream launch was put on hold.
Rahul Dev soon appeared in a negative role in ‘Champion’ alongside Sunny Deol and Manisha Koiral, followed by pivotal roles in Indra Kumar’s ‘Aashiq’ alongside Bobby Deol and Karishma Kapoor, Santosh Sivan’s ‘Asoka’ alongside Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Hrishita Bhatt, Guddu Dhanoa’s ‘23rd March 1931: Shaheed’ alongside Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Amrita Singh and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’ alongside Akshay Kumar, Aftab Shivdasani, Suniel Shetty, Preeti Jhangiani, Amrita Arora and Aarti Chhabria.

Rahul Dev played a notorious character in the mega budget film ‘Blue’ directed by Anthony D'Souza. ‘Blue’ is the first underwater adventure film to be made in India and was supposedly inspired from 2008 release Hollywood film ‘Fool’s Gold’ starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson. ‘Blue’ starred Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Zayed Khan and Bollywood hotties Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta, while international pop sensation Kylie minogue made a special musical appearance. Rahul Dev will soon be seen in Neeraj Vora’s fortcoming rom-com thriller ‘Run Bhola Run’ starring Govinda, Ameesha Patel and Tusshar Kapoor, Celina Jaitley, Upen Patel and Aryan Vaid. Rahul Dev presently serves as a single parent to his ten year old son Siddharth. Rahul’s wife Rina died a year back owing to her long term struggle with cancer. Rahul and Rina were married for around eleven years.
