Every year Ranna Gill comes up with surprising collections for the Lakme India Fashion Week. She has presented chic yet wildly tribal collection that is used for its detailing bones, threads and beads on crepe and organza which captured the audience’s imagination.
Quirky silhouettes that came in black and white are also one of Ranna Gill’s famous collections. The kurtas and tunics were well past the routines and won her heavy praises.
Ranna Gill once came up with a complete range of Mediterranean flavor for one season of the Fashion week in which she used designs and colors as vibrant as the flavors of the place. She also presented a whole range of men’s wear including kaftans and kurtas that took the audience by surprise.
Ranna Gill’s most famous of collections is the “Gypsy” in which she set the ramp ablaze with modern and sexy looks on gypsy type costumes which used mirrors and gottas to give the tribal feel yet giving deep necklines to make it entirely sensual.
“Elizabeth” is one other collection of Ranna Gill’s which came with traditional English kind of designs on frocks and knee length gowns seamed with laces and threads with equally authentic jewellery like brooches and pearl necklaces, complete with ballerina shoes.
