The Dreams of Savio John
Savio John tries to recall his past life when he was still six years old being an ambitious child when he sometime create a design using the grocery bags, he cut the bottom from it and placed them on the hangers, trying to pretend it as tops then putting them at the garage where he played like a boutique owner and going to sell it together with his friends. At his very young age, his interest in cutting styles is one of the reasons that brought him in to fashion designing. His interest in doing such things was inspired by his mother. Savio John begins to sew and cut while watching the work of his mother at the age of eleven. During his high school days, he started attending exhibitions from his school about his cut clothes that was made purely by him. He is asked also to designed costumes from a popular rock star named Remo Fernandes.
Savio John ambitions to be a fashion designer became possible when he file an application at NIFT in New Delhi, to pursue learning the crafts but it was not approved because of his working profile. But because of his passions in fashion designing, he continually enter the world of fashions when he humbly took the work as an apprentice with the asymmetric list named Wendell Rodricks while experimenting to work in other house of fashions. Savio John now then has a lot of working experience that lead him to be known locally then internationally when he got won by the “First Shopper’s Stop Designer of the Year”. His first award is just like his first career as a fashion designer. Savio John is very much blessed when his creation was worn by Diana Hayden where she won the title of Miss World last 1999. That was just the beginning of his successful career being a famous fashion Designer and because of that winning design, lots of clients started to ask his work just like when Goa from Taj Exotica asked him to entirely make a design of their uniform.
 Since then, Savio John’s popularity is unstoppable. His lack of training in formal design is not a barrier for him to stop his dreams. Savio John strongly believes that we should not stop in learning new things. Savio John is also known as a sensitive fashion creator because he prefer the quality most and not the quantity and he is more focused on the craftsmanship and the details, His styles and designs reveals that the dress you wear is not only about physical appearance but it changes on the way of your feelings. As a person, Savio John also admires the work of other fashion designers like Gaultier, for having a sense of humor, Chalayan, for being intellectual among his work of arts, Yves Saint Laurent, for his being glamorous in his designs and so many more to mention. His involvement towards the world of fashion brings him to become very much successful all throughout his career and the most important thing is he had fun.
