Born on 19th October, 1956 in New Delhi, Sunny was originally named Ajay Singh Deol. Sunny Deol’s father Dharmendra is a veteran actor who later married the gorgeous actress and dancer Hema Malini. Sunny Deol’s younger brother Bobby Deol is also a well known Bollywood actor and his two younger sisters are settled in California. Sunny Deol also has two half sisters Esha Deol, an actress and Ahana Deol. Sunny is married to Pooja Deol and the couple has two sons, Ranveer Singh Deol & Rajveer Singh Deol.

The good looking and well built Sunny Deol always wanted to act and studied acting and theatre at the Old Web Theatre in Birmingham, England. Sunny Deol made his bollywood debut in 1983 blockbuster ‘Betaab’ opposite debutante Amrita Singh. ‘Betaab’ was his home production and got him a strong foothold in the film industry. Directed by Anil Sharma, ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ became the highest grossing movieof the year and one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema. Sunny Deol recently appeared in his home production ‘Apne’ alongside his dad Dharmendra and brother Bobby Deol and the 2008 release ‘Heroes’. Both the movies fared well at the box office and Sunny deol was praised for his consistency.
